White Chocolate Butterscotch Cookies

Yummy new recipe!

I went in search for a new cookie recipe a couple weeks ago and found this one at CDKitchen.com!

We had friends visiting from West Palm Beach and they gave these cookies their seal of approval so I figured I’d share the recipe. The cookies were simple and very yummy.

Looking for something new?

Give them a try!

(And…I must confess…let’s be honest…I may not consider myself a “runner,” but I “go running” so that I can eat crap like this!) šŸ™‚

White Chocolate Butterscotch Cookies

2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon light molasses
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup butterscotch chips
3/4 cup white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.

In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, molasses, and vanilla. Blend well. Add the flour mixture and mix to blend. Stir in the pecans, butterscotch chips and white chocolate chips. Do not overmix.

Drop the cookie dough by rounded tablespoons 2″ apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until set. Transfer to wire racks to cool.

Enjoy! šŸ™‚
